March August, the Association of World Citizens will present
an Online Regional Meetings Symposium (in 15 countries)
on how world citizens and non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
can convince or pressure governments to achieve the Millennium
Development Goals (MDGs) they adopted by consensus in 2000. This
project is in preparation for the UN Summit in New York in September.

Streets, Petaluma, Trash Planet and the Search for Home,
a play and improvization process involving students in issues
of global climate crisis. The scenario is two exchange students
doing work-study in Africa in 2015. They are starting for home
when they discover the bus to the airport is broken down-permanently.
Harrowing adventures follow as they search for a way homeand
learn how very far from healthy the planet really is. The play
and improv scenarios will be available to college or high school

Square, San Francisco. Cathay Post # 384 will present
an Environment Awareness Exhibit. The exhibit will include
traditional medicine, an acupuncture demonstration, smog-buster
technology, a clean water recovery system, bamboo construction
methods, and many other environment-related exhibits. There will
also be a Chinese Lion Dance and a Native American Traditional

Point of All Nations: a Statement of the Baha'i International
Community will be presented at the San Francisco Baha'i Center.
The event begins with Devotions at 10:00 am followed by refreshments
at 10:30 am. The program will begin at 11:00 am. Ten years ago,
the Baha'i International Community released Turning Point of
All Nations, a forward looking statement inspired by the UN's
50th Anniversary Comme-moration. Now the San Francisco Baha'i
Community will use this document as the basis for a spiritually-based
dialogue on strengthening the UN's institutions and releasing
the power of the individual in an emerging inter-national order.
