Unity Foundation's Local Community-Building Programs Unity Foundation is involved in a number of community-building programs, in the Mission District of San Francisco. The foundation organizes street cleanings twice a week, working with the Department of Public Work's Bureau of Streets and Environmental Services. Working with youths, the foundation organizes periodic graffiti paint-outs in the neighborhood. There is also a periodic tree planting program.
