The 7th annual Day of Peace festival will celebrate young people and adults working together to develop a greater understanding of different cultures and a more balanced coexistence among people, animals and the environment. Join members of Dr. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots youth program from all across the state of California as they come together on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Santa Monica Pier to promote PEACE.
